Title: Incorporating Hardware Security Modules and Hardware Tokens with Kerberos
Abstract:
Hardware Security Modules can improve the security and speed of
cryptographic operations by moving secret keys and operations involving them
into specialized hardware.
This talk will be an exploration of the use of
hardware security modules to secure the authentication exchange in Kerberos.
We will look at existing work, candidate hardware and changes that will be
required on the KDC.
