The AFS & Kerberos Best Practices Workshop 2011 announces the 2011 Call For Participation.

Come talk to your peers about:

  • Updates on previous talks

or anything else of note involving AFS and/or Kerberos.

The AFS & Kerberos Best Practices Workshop is a week long conference for the novice and the experienced. The week is filled with two full-day classes introducing AFS and Kerberos and two and one half days of talks by your peers and colleagues. This year's workshop will be held at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, June 6 to 10, 2011.

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Best practices
  • Performance tuning
  • Benchmarking
  • Server scaling
  • Service monitoring
  • AFS & Kerberos v5
  • AFS & Kerberos v5 related tools
  • Upgrade strategies
  • Unique uses of AFS and/or Kerberos Backups
