Title: Kerberos and Identity Federation

Abstract:

In this talk we will present our outgoing work and current achievements aiming at combining the Kerberos protocol and application and the emerging concept of identity federations based mainly on the SAML assertion language. We are preparing client tools that allow users to log-in a federation, which are based on the Network Identity Manager framework. We also present how SAML assertions can be put into a Kerberos ticket and used by a server to be used as the basis for access control decisions made by the server.
