Thomas Kula, University of Michigan | Xen as a test environment |
One of the interesting possibilities of the Xen
paravirtualization system is the easy and rapid deployment of test
environments. Especially when dealing with AFS and Kerberos, where
setting up an entire test environment often involves several machines,
using paravirtualization is attractive because you can set up multiple
"machines" on one physical piece of hardware.
This talk will give an overview of Xen, discuss the usability of the Heimdal and MIT kerberos and OpenAFS and Arla AFS suites under Xen, and talk about some features of Xen that may be useful in a production environment. |
