Simon Wilkinson, University of Edinburgh -- Kerberos within Automatically Configured Systems

This talk will discuss the implications of such a highly managed and reconfigurable e nvironment when deploying Kerberos, and will look at the solutions we have developed for automatically creating and distributing Kerberos host and other service keys. We' ll also look at the ways that this Kerberos infrastructure is leveraged to provide X5 09 certficates to SSL services, and in authenticating SSH keys where Kerberized key exchange is unavailable.
